The game is played 2-on-2 on the court, with 1 substitute on each team (3 players per team).

Match format:
- A match consists of 4 quarters of 10 minutes of gross time each.
- If the score is tied after the 4th quarter, a 5-minute overtime is played.
- If the score is still tied after overtime, another 5-minute overtime is played, and so on until a winner is determined.
  The number of overtime periods is unlimited.

Time movement:
- Net time is played for the last 30 seconds of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters and the last minute of the 4th quarter. The rest of the time is gross time.
- In overtime, net time is played for the last 30 seconds.

Fouls:
- After 6 team fouls, each subsequent foul is punished with two free throws.
- Team fouls are not carried over to the next quarter.
- Team fouls are carried over from the 4th quarter to overtime, as well as from one overtime period to the next.

Score change:
- A free throw is worth 1 point.
- A field goal is worth 2 or 3 points.

Free throws:
- 1 or 2 free throws may be awarded.

Ejections:
- There are no ejections.

Technical defeat:
- Technical defeats are not possible in practice. If a match is cancelled, it is removed.
